Teaching & Personal Training
Melanie has been a qualified self employed horse trainer for twenty-seven years. She teaches a wide variety of levels, mostly on a one to one basis. Having been formerly trained in England and in Vienna, Austria, she started off with a really sound base of experience.
Melanie trains the Yorkshire Wold’s Affiliated Riding club, and actively encourages all levels of riders to join the teams. She believes that everyone should get the chance to compete in the teams, not just the crème de la crème. Taking part and personal achievement overrides the desire to win. Team spirit, camaraderie, pulling together and having a great day will far outweigh the trophy-hunting ethos.

Yorkie, a dressage sucess story.
Melanie competes her Medium Dressage horse Yorkie (Burnhamite M+M) in the team-jumping purely for fun. In 2006 she won the area Intermediate Jumping and went on to come sixth at the National RC championships against Scotland and Northern Ireland. She gave all the staff a boost as she has a non-jumping horse.
Training clinics can be arranged anywhere in the country.
