Instinctive Horse Training Event at Bishop Burton College
Melanie happily accepts invitations to demonstrate her ways of training .She will run training days for clubs and will teach groups or private lessons alike. The topic of which is down to yourselves depending on what you all wish to achieve....ie relationship improvement or better communication between rider,or handler, and the horse.
Invite Melanie to your riding/pony club
Melanie can come and talk or demonstrate any topic which you would like to be covered. Melanie can spend the day or evening teaching your club in groups or as individuals. Its great fun to have a go at the ROPE HALTER TECHNIQUE!!! Guaranteed to be fun, different and beneficial all at the same time!
Demonstrations
Melanie is guaranteed to captivate her audience with the results of her work whilst providing an often humorous dialogue. Her profound understanding of the equine mind and their own language enables her to give her audience real insight. The horses put forward will be really improved by the end of their session.
Guest or public speaking
Melanie enjoys this side...Humorously bringing the psychology of the horse to life in the mind`s eye of an audience. Explaining why they do what it is that they do and how we can go about retraining , or problem solving ,in a completely non habitual way. Even the non horsey folk get a buzz out if their evening listening to Melanie`s passion for her subject.!!!!
Teaching
I can come to your yard and spend the day teaching , assessing and offering advice in general on topics such as..
- Tack fitting
- Bits and bitting .
- Care of the horses back , pain assessments and how to recognise these issues. Discuss range of treatments that are available.
- Care of the legs..Injury prevention and treatment.
